Fabrics and wallpapers, earth coverings and braid, furniture and lamps … The 2016 Edition of Paris Déco Off highlights seven “savoir faire” of decoration with, this year, the participation of the museum Decorative Arts which exposed two exhibitions : ” to Make the wall – 4 centuries of wallpapers ” and ” inspired Fabrics by Pierre Frey “.106 Maisons of decoration opened their doors and exposed their new collections, in particular in the Mail avenue and in the Parisian district of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Visitors where able to discover furnitures of famous brands in different showrooms and to appreciate top of the range manufacturing of fabrics and decoration and creations of luxury objects.The linen lanterns suspended in the streets, (prestigious work of Masters of Linen), did highlight once more fabrics and permitted to show clearly the roads to be followed. At the end of the Mail avenue, street-artists created “on-the-spot” works.To sum-up, one more, the Paris deco Off Edition was a real success and we are looking forward to 2017 editions !
